Location Waltham, MA, United States Employment Type Full-Time Posted on May 17, 2023 Profile PURPOSE AND SCOPE:Leads the implementation of the global citizenship strategy for Fresenius Medical Care, including charitable contributions, corporate sponsorships, volunteer programming, Fresenius Medical Care Foundation, and board and committee management. Supports FMC’s mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMC Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and company policy requirements.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides management, implementation, and coordination of the global citizenship program. Identify gaps in existing programs and make recommendations for improvement. Evaluates partnership and donation requests; prepare and present to appropriate management committee/decision making body. Supports the Fresenius Medical Care Foundation and employee hardship fund (CARES Fund); manage the day to day activities of both (fundraising, stewardship, grantmaking, budgeting, reporting). Leads efforts in procurement, budgeting, reporting, and ongoing monitoring of expenses for citizenship; select and manage vendors as necessary. Manages company-wide employee volunteering program, i.e., Helping our Heroes program, in-office volunteering, signature program (e.g. Kidney Kid), community volunteer program (e.g. families volunteering) etc. Manage CSR Software (YourCause) and its growth to support ERGs and programs in-kind.Launches and oversees management of company.Research and collects information industry and corporate social responsibility trends, and best practices, participate in conferences and education opportunities, inform the organization about opportunities to improve existing programs and expand reach globally. Develops and implement reporting on the internal and external impact / outcomes of corporate social responsibility programs and use data to make recommendations and decisions. Coordinates with Communications and Marketing for internal and external visibility on community relations efforts. Ensure delivery on established partnership plans.Establishes and maintain strategic non-profit relationships designed to enhance company reputation across stakeholders (internally and externally). Evaluates and makes recommendations on opportunities for new partners and programs: i.e. signature program, employee match, skills-based volunteering, new partnerships with non-profit organizations, etc. Reviews and complies with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.Performs other related duties as assigned.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
