Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them schedule services, answering their questions, and ensuring every interaction is positive and productive. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication:
  • Answer inbound customer calls and respond to email inquiries to schedule rug cleaning and related services.
  • Call and follow up with leads generated via social media forms.
  • Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service to all customers, ensuring a positive experience from first contact through job completion.
  • Service Presentation:
  • Accurately present and explain our cleaning services and products, including answering questions about cleaning procedures and pricing.
  • Obtain and enter accurate lead information from customers into our CRM system.
  • Sales & Upselling:
  • Proactively identify customer needs and recommend additional services (such as fabric protection, deodorizing, or upholstery cleaning) to maximize customer satisfaction and earn commission.
  • Make follow-up calls to previous customers to re-solicit business and encourage repeat service.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all company services and promotions.
  • Perform various office tasks, including scheduling, data entry, and basic administrative duties.
  • Use our CRM (HubSpot or similar) to track interactions, set up tasks, and follow up with customers.
  • Teamwork & Development:
  • Attend training meetings as required and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred; experience in sales or the cleaning industry is a plus.
  • Experience using a CRM (such as HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pleasant telephone demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills for scheduling and email communication.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to recognize and resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn about rug cleaning processes and company services.
